We should play POLITICS that supports and encourages tolerance for one another. The Nigerian kind of politics we have practiced for years where people go all out to fight for their preferred candidates, killing themselves, maiming their fellow humans and destroying millions worth of properties just to come a point about the superiority of their supposed candidate.

Politics and Politicians should make it about the people and how the people can benefit if given the opportunity to lead. Those seeking political office must bring facts to the table with why their proposed policies make a lot of sense than what the other candidate or party is proposing.

We need to ensure that our youths are not used as candidates of death and destruction. We can’t kill ourselves for those who seat in the comfort of their fortified homes with countless police and military personnel securing their lives while we wallow in wanton destruction. The Children of our modern day politician are in some of the best schools in the world or enjoying an exotic life in some of the most beautiful cities while the children of the common man or woman live in abject poverty and limited opportunities.

We, the Youths refuse to play a politics that divides us as a Nation. We refuse to play a politics that sets us against each other, we refuse to play a politics that tends to rip our humanity apart, we refuse to allow primordial sentiments of religion, ethnic background to set the tone and pace of the inspirational kind of leadership we desire in Nigeria.

We don’t want Leaders that will go to the road to cook, wash and do unimaginable things just to earn the votes of the electorate then revert back when in office to cause so much pain to the same masses they did everything in their power to win their hearts.

As Youths, we must advocate for Government to create equal opportunities for all. We must postulate a new form of political #ideology called EQUALNISM – a system of Government where every Young Person has an equal shot at opportunities to succeed. These successes should be guaranteed by equal merited access to incentives, tax break, setting the infrastructure in top notch shape like power, transportation, ensuring that the burden involved in the registration process for small businesses is eased and more importantly totally automated to make it easier and faster.

We are tired of complaining and we are surely going to take back our DESTINIES and ensure that our voices are HEARD in Nigeria. Never again should our voices be unheard, never ever should be forsaken by the Government that is meant to protect by all means the future of its future generation of Leaders.
